We all go through troubling times and we all must know how to de-stress and remain relaxed. Want to learn how to center yourself while going through a rough patch? Then come join this yoga class taught by certified yoga instructor Miriam Hadley!

In this private, 1-hour class, students can choose to learn any of the following yoga techniques:

  • Vinyasa Yoga
  • Yin Yoga
  • Pre-Natal Yoga

Students who want to try-out can choose the 1 session option and students who want to deep dive into yoga & meditation can opt for 4 or 8 sessions.

A little more about your classes:

  • Vinyasa Yoga:
    Vinyasa is a style of yoga that uses breath and breathing techniques to effortlessly "flow" from one posture to another. As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. One enters into a posture, is there for a while & then leaves the posture. The benefits of Vinyasa Yoga are:
    • Endurance and strength training
    • Stability and balance
    • Cardio workout
    • Lowers stress & anxiety

  • Yin Yoga:
    Yin Yoga is for all you busy bees out there who can't seem to slow down. It is a more meditative approach with a physical focus that is much deeper. Here the practitioner is trying to access the deeper tissues such as the connective tissue and fascia and many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine). As one ages, flexibility in the joints decreases and Yin Yoga is a great way to maintain that flexibility. The benefits of Yin Yoga are:
    • Targets connective tissues including fascia, bones & joints
    • Reduces stress
    • Increases circulation
    • Balances internal organs and improves the flow of prana
    • Balances our yang or fast-paced physical yoga practice
    • Relieves tension

  • Prenatal Yoga:
    A way to maintain a healthy mind and body is prenatal yoga because it focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps pregnant women develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor. The benefits of prenatal yoga for pregnant women are:
