If you're looking to transform your mind and body, get started with Pilates!
In this private, 1-hour class, your instructor Kristina can guide you through the different styles of Pilates, according to individual needs. The class is ideal for everyone, whether you're pre-natal, post-natal or have recently suffered injuries. Pilates can help increase your flexibility and strength and may also combine elements of cardio and HIIT workouts if you're looking to get lean. Choose 1 session to try out the instructor and 5 sessions to make the most of your Pilates training.
You can opt for any one of the following Pilates styles:
- Mat Pilates: Mat Pilates incorporates a variety of floor exercises to strengthen and tone your body, while also increasing your flexibility. You'll learn all the fundamental movement techniques, which you can practice at home without needing any equipment or with small props (balls, resistance bands, rollers, etc). It is also considered the safest form of exercise during pregnancy.
- Equipment or MOTR Pilates: Equipment Pilates is particularly helpful if you have specific health conditions or are recovering from injuries. It is also one of the best conditioning alternatives for athletes and those that wish to improve their sports performance ( runners, boxers, swimmers). Many variations of exercises are possible on the equipment, making it easy for you to have the exercises tailored to suit your body's abilities and needs.
- Mats are provided, but if students have their own mats, it's recommended to bring it
- It is also recommended to wear sticky socks and bring a personal towel and water bottle
