Venture into the fascinating world of swordplay with fencing classes! Fencing is a classy and competitive sport that is a combination of three related combat sports - sabre, épée, and foil. Each of them is very unique and has its own rules.
In this 1-hour private class, you will learn all about fencing from a professional fencer. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will explore the different techniques involved in fencing. As you learn these three distinct combat sports, you will see an improvement in your reflexes, agility, flexibility, and reaction time. You will be able to switch off from the problems in your life during the class and detach yourself from worries and anxiety as you put your focus on fencing.
This class is safe and suitable for students of all levels; no prior experience is required whatsoever. The instructor will tailor the lessons according to your ability and goal. The lightweight steel blade is blunt and flexible, making it safe for all.
You can book for 5 or 10 sessions depending on your needs and goals. Alternatively, you can book 1 session to test out the class before committing to more sessions.
About the instructor:
Native to Hungary and with an athletic background spanning over 15 years, Szabina is a professional fencer, personal trainer, and nutrition expert. She has 5 years of coaching experience and has successfully trained kids and adults for over 7 years. Her expertise lies in her ability to help people get into shape with resistance training in a safe and effective way. She teaches her clients how to reach their health goals as well as how to recover from injuries through the correct exercises and diet.
As a fencer, Szabina has represented the Hungarian National Sabre fencing team for 8 years in national and international competitions including the European and World Championships. Her experience has strengthened her knowledge in both fencing and fitness, which has encouraged her to inspire others to try their hand in fencing as well as help them with their fitness journey.
