Sapna Singh graduated from Leeds Arts University in the UK in October 2023 with an MA in "World Building with Creature Design". Before that, she completed her BFA in Applied Art from Delhi, India in 2006.

She has worked as a lecturer, concept artist, digital illustrator, and other roles for more than ten years. She also taught as an adjunct faculty in a university in Dubai, before beginning her MA in September 2022 and taking modules in Art for Animation, Colour Practice and Painting, Matte Painting, Traditional Animation, Pre-Production, and Anatomy to first-year B.Sc. in Animation students. She has also been associated with Wacom as a Guest Artist since 2021 and has done workshops with them on various topics like digital illustration, doodles, animation, and photography at Comic-Con 2022, Abu Dhabi, and various Universities.
