Anna Avetisyan

Anna Avetisyan is an experienced language teacher of English, Russian and Spanish, with more than 20 years of teaching practice with groups and individually. During her years of work in private language schools, she has gained valuable experience in managing group work on all levels, supervising and training new teaching staff and creating new learning products for students, including summer camps, assessments and much more. 

Continuous self-development together with classroom observation and testing new techniques, resulted in creating her own solid teaching approach that has led to significant improvement in overall students' performance, enabling them to get high scores in a number of International exams- Cambridge Young Learners/KET/PET/FCE/CAE/IELTS, EmSAT. 

As a co-founder and a Senior Teacher of a successful language school in Russia, Anna trained new teachers and coordinated work of native trainers and during her years of work in Dubai, she has quickly progressed from a language trainer to the Head of English Department.  

Apart from teaching, Anna has been creating assessment materials for RTA (Road and Transport Authority), the iconic hotel Atlantis and other corporate clients. 

IELTS is another object of interest for Anna. With a personal band score of 8.5, she has made a series of Power Point presentations focusing on the most powerful techniques for those who struggle to achieve their desired scores. 

As a native speaker of Russian, Anna has created an express Russian course that has successfully been used with a number of private and corporate students in the UAE. 

Anna constantly works on her language skills and, being a French Elementary or Indonesian Intermediate student herself, she always remembers what her students need most at different stages of language learning.
