Hand-building is an ancient pottery-making technique that involves creating forms without a pottery wheel, using the hands, fingers, and simple tools.
This 12-hour (6 sessions x 2 hours per session) complete pottery hand-building course will teach you the 3 main techniques:
- Slab technique
- Coiling technique
- Pinching technique
In addition to these techniques, you will also learn:
- The fundamentals
- Other techniques on how to make your own project
- Glazing with Brush and different decorative techniques
Create your own objects like Ceramic Ice Bucket, Ceramic Cup, Ceramic Mug, Pots, Candle Holder, Flower Holders, Souvenirs, or similar objects. By end of the 6 sessions, you will be able to create a total of 6 objects.

- Students have the option of taking home their creations for use as a ceramic product. A fee of AED 50 will be applicable for firing and glazing each piece. Students can collect the projects 2 weeks after completion of all sessions due to the time required for drying.
