This online class combines the two-centuries-old arts of silk painting and hand embroidery. In this class, you will learn a useful hobby that allows you both to create your own unique wall paintings or add an artistic touch to your scarfs.

Besides learning how to apply watercolors on silk to create unique designs, you will also be introduced to the art of hand embroidery and stitching, which will add to the style and pattern of your silk painting creation.

By the end of the first workshop, you will complete 1 simple piece. And in 6 workshops, you will complete 2-3 more advanced silk paintings using a variety of different mediums and materials such as salt, alcohol or gutta to create special effects and flowing designs. Whether you are a beginner or a professional artist, this workshop is suitable for all.

Luna is a Vietnam born artist who has demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent since her childhood. She is skilled with many different canvases; be it paper, wood, using acrylic or oil paint. However, her specialty is colorful silk paintings for which she has developed her own technique by designing mesmerizing silk art and combining it with a unique style of hand embroidery.
