Fadi Hindash is an award-winning scriptwriter and filmmaker based between Dubai and Amsterdam. He is focused on character-driven stories, both fiction and documentary. His last short fiction film ‘12th of Never’ won the ‘Best Script’ award at the Oscar-qualifying ‘Rhode Island Film Festival’ and his first short, ‘The Sound of Applause’, was nominated for ‘Best Narrative Short’ at the ‘Rome Film Festival’.
Fadi graduated from the New York Film Academy and is a Berlin Talent Campus alumnus. He is professionally trained in screenwriting, having attended scriptwriting residencies in New York, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Istanbul. He was also trained under the renowned filmmaker Werner Herzog and the Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Hubert Sauper. Besides his short fiction work, Fadi is a prolific documentary filmmaker, currently developing his 3rd feature documentary. Fadi is also a recurring jury member of Movies that Matter, the Amnesty International film festival in the Hague.
