The 1-day Barista Skills Foundation Course allows learners to gain an introductory understanding of the coffee itself as per SCA quality standards. The program comprises practical learning objectives and activities that prepare the learner to conduct key foundational tasks of a barista. A written exam tests theoretical knowledge based on Foundation course learning objectives. Students will be provided certificates after passing. If the student fails the exam the test can be taken again without extra charge.
Graduates can progress to Barista Intermediate Training: Level 2

- A certificate accredited by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) will be awarded upon successful completion of the course exam, for a surcharge of AED 500 payable directly to the instructor
