If you are someone who loves art and history, then this is the perfect opportunity for you with archeology and painting in the same class! Warli painting is a style of art that dates to around 3000 BC. It originated in India and is known for its geometric art style that focuses on people and elements of nature.
This class inspires and develops your skill to do Warli art on both canvas and walls (optionally). You will learn the techniques of Warli using only clay and white colors to make it look exactly as how it did during the prehistoric times with intricate patterns of flowers, wedding rituals, hunting scenes, and other everyday activities of the Varli tribes. This is a perfect art to decorate walls with paintings that are equally stunning and different.
Students of all levels from beginners to expert artists who want to learn something new can opt for this class. The class is taken in a private 1-on-1 setting. Each session takes 1.5 hours and we recommend a minimum of 8 sessions for beginners to make notable progress. You can rebook as many times needed until the learning target is achieved.
* Student needs to bring: Acrylic paints, Clay, Pallet, Canvas and Point brushes - full set
* Materials can also be arranged by the instructor for an additional fee of AED 300-500 per student, depending on the learning goals (optional)
