Description:
Knitting can be creative, fun and therapeutic! At this class (2 hours per session) you'll get creative with different colors and learn to create accessories and home decor.
In 2 sessions, you will learn the necessary skills to finish 2 simple projects. In 2 more sessions you will be able to finish 1-2 intermediate projects, depending on the complexity.
What you'll learn:
- Basics of knitting
- Basic stitches, like knit and purl
- How to cast off
- How to add new colors to create stripes
- Stitch patterns like rib, basket weave, and garter eyelet
- Basic pattern reading
