Orla Carlin

Orla is a freelance writer in the UAE. She has published for various educational magazines including TES International, Intuition SET magazine, and Nexus Education UK. She teaches English and sociology and is a qualified yoga and meditation teacher. Now doing her Masters of Science in Wellbeing, she is starting to implement interventions to help people destress through writing and meditation workshops. 

Orla inspires others to write about global issues and topics they are passionate about. She can teach you how to pitch your work. Orla believes in humanistic teaching and encourages collaboration and peer mentoring as well as interactive games in her workshops. She has a bachelor's degree from a Russel group university in the UK and is a fully qualified post 16 lecturer of literacy. She earned her certificate in English Language teaching to adults so is able to adjust sessions for anyone who is a non-native writer.
