Nkhan Designs

Based in Dubai, NKhan Designs is founded by mixed-media abstract artist and handmade jewelry designer Nuqra Khan. 

She creates beautifully crafted handmade statement jewelry for both daily wear and occasional wear, using resin and pigments, dried flowers and alcohol inks among other things to design the pieces, and they are suitable for all age groups.  

Nuqra is also a full-time artist and has been painting in a non-representational style, mostly abstracts, using acrylics and watercolors. Her artworks are inspired by nature, and her passion for flowers has especially found its expression in her art. The joy and pleasure that flowers spread through their shapes and colors and scents is what she wants to portray through her floral paintings. Creating art reminds her to slow down and reconnect with nature, and she wants her students and viewers to likewise take a moment and look around for the beauty and peace that nature has to offer. Abstraction in Nuqra's art allows the freedom of expression that is not limited to visual realities, being up to the viewers to discover their own personal meanings in the paintings. She wants to express the solace and harmony that one finds in nature through her artworks, and seeks to impart the same experience to others. 

Nuqrahas displayed her work at multiple events and exhibitions, including exclusive paintings at The J Café and the Modista Dubai event exhibition in January 2020; “Light Within Us”, a virtual art exhibition held in October 2020 by Artezaar Art Gallery; NofilterDXB “Noora” in November 2021, and most recently the World Art Dubai Solo Exhibit in March 2022.
