Carika is a qualified and experienced music instructor from South Africa, who has taught for over 9 years. Her specialty is in the piano and the flute. She has a Master's degree in music from the University of Cape Town.

She started playing the piano at age 7 and the flute at age 13 and was enthralled by both! She has taught complete beginners to professional musicians to hone their craft and to appreciate the sound of music.

To her, music is about much more than just learning a skill. She believes perseverance, patience, creativity, discipline and confidence are some of the most important things that music can teach you.
