Aditya Ramakrishnan

Aditya Ramakrishnan is a Dubai-raised technology professional, educator, and creative who sits at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and culture. 

With academic foundations in Strategic Marketing, Audio Engineering, and Multimedia & Game Design, complemented by a minor in Psychology, Aditya brings a rare multidisciplinary perspective to both technology and human behavior. His career spans over a decade in Dubai’s tech ecosystem, where he has worked extensively across AI, AR, VR, MR, mobile app development, and bespoke digital solutions, collaborating primarily with government and enterprise clients. 

Over the years, Aditya progressed through roles from Project Manager to Account Manager, and eventually Principal Consultant, leading complex initiatives that translated emerging technologies into real-world impact. His work has consistently focused on making advanced technology accessible, practical, and meaningful—especially for non-technical audiences. 

Today, Aditya is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Maple Connect, a company focused on eSports, digital culture, and tailor-made technology solutions, bridging competitive gaming, community building, and innovation. 

Beyond his professional work, Aditya is an avid gamer, a multi-instrumentalist, and a creative at heart. He writes books and haikus, blending structure with spontaneity—much like his approach to teaching. His SkillDeer sessions are designed to be approachable, insight-driven, and engaging, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and practical understanding rather than technical intimidation.
