American Sign Language, or ASL, is the primary sign language used by Deaf communities in the USA and Canada, and has spread throughout the world as one of the most popular sign languages. In these private online 3-hour lessons, an experienced ASL instructor will teach you the principles of this language and can customize the schedule to your skill level, with no experience necessary!

Choose between 2 sessions to learn the basics of ASL or 4 sessions to grasp the fundamentals.

Course Outline:

• Session 1: Introduction to the World of ASL. Get acquainted with the history of ASL, Finger spelling and numbers. Learn how to introduce yourself. Learn the signs of various professions and the profession you want to have. Learn about buildings and directions so you can also sign how you get to your work
• Session 2: Food & Medicine. Explore the world of food signs, signs related to medicine and signs for various emotions to express yourself
• Session 3: Story of Our Planet. Explore the signs of continents, various countries, their religions, faith and popular holidays
• Session 4: Season Finale. Learn about signs of animals, idioms and phrase signs. Will also include a thorough revision of all the words you have learned so far and fun video comprehension exercises
