Join a 1.5-hour, private workshop where you will develop an awareness of your emotions - including understanding how and why they are caused, how you feel, and how you react. With the help of Map of Emotions by Dalai Lama, you will learn to use emotional awareness as a strategy to process your emotional experience.
Your end goal here is not to get rid of your emotions, rather to manoeuvre your emotions in constructive ways.
How Your Emotions Affect You:
When we identify ourselves with our thoughts and emotions we find ourselves in misery - either creating a craving (for positive emotions) or aversion (towards negative emotions and stimuli). This can then lead to undesirable reactions or emotional suppression.
Undesirable reactions can jeopardize our personal and professional relationships and, as the body ages, the culmination of emotional suppression over the years creates illnesses. This workshop, therefore, guides you through emotional awareness and management.
About the Practitioner:
