Discover and gain a deeper understanding of your inner self through creative expression! Choose one of these two therapeutic mapping methods (or book the same class twice and explore both!) and become connected to your body and soul more than ever. Sessions can be taken as 1-on-1 or within a small group setting depending on the student and instructor’s availability.

1. Body Mapping
This 3-hour therapeutic process allows you to explore and creatively communicate the stories that you live in your body. You will be painting a life-size representation of your body on canvas and using images, symbols and words to map out places in you that are full of life, places with pain, and places that hold hope and potential for the future.

As you create the body map, you will discover new links between these places in you. You will gain a deeper understanding of your own power to create health within you and through your way of living in this world. This workshop interweaves drawing and painting with body and movement meditations, guided visualization, ritual, and personal storytelling. No previous art experience is required.

2. Soul Mapping
Soul mapping is a way to get down to your soul's desire, getting information and direction not readily available to your everyday waking awareness. The 3-hour session uses archetypal images that have been carefully selected to go under the radar of the conscious mind. Talking about issues only goes skin deep, but with painting images, music, or dance, the right-brain opens the door to deeper levels of intuitive knowing.

The image cards provide cues to an inner landscape of a situation, person, or line of questioning. By exploring what the image means to you personally, currents, flows of energies, and patterns emerge in response to your question. This “soul journey” invokes and unleashes the power of creativity to map your own soul to live in the highest potential.
