Each week of our program will immerse young artists in the creation of a different character, guiding them through sketching techniques, the Elements of Art, and Principles of Design. Drawing from my experience as a working artist, I'll also share personal tips to enhance their artistic journey.

As we embark on our artistic adventures, we'll begin by delving into the fundamental Elements of Art and Principles of Design, laying the groundwork for our creative exploration. These elements, including color, line, shape, form, value, texture, and space, serve as the building blocks of our artwork, while the principles of design, such as contrast, rhythm, proportion, balance, unity, emphasis, movement, and variety, dictate how these elements are arranged and interact.

Throughout the program, we'll explore various sketching techniques, equipping young artists with the tools to bring their characters to life.
