Our Pro Pastry program is a combination of five teaching modules followed by a two-week module comprising practical and online assessments. The program focuses on the key areas of bakery, pastry, cakes, and desserts. By structuring our Pro Pastry program in this way students can decide if they want to focus on a particular area of interest, or, accomplish the full range of skills accompanied by an international diploma.
SCAFA’s Professional Pastry program is the region's only curriculum dedicated to teaching pastry to students aspiring to attain professional pastry standards. Classes run 5 days a week from Monday to Friday for 13 weeks.
Modules run continuously and you start the full program from any of the modules and either complete the full program (5 modules plus two weeks of assessments) and obtain your pastry diploma, or you can simply restrict yourself to the module of your choice for the module specific fee below.
The current schedule modules are as follows for your reference:
- Breads, doughs, and batters – 4 weeks (AED 10,500 module fee)
April 15th, 2024, to May 10th, 2024
- Tart and biscuits - 1 week (AED 3,150 module fee)
May 13th, 2024, to May 17th, 2024.
- Classic and modern desserts - 1 week (AED 3,150 module fee)
May 20th, 2024, to May 24th, 2024
- Chocolate - 1 week (AED 4,200)
May 27th, 2024, to May 31st, 2024
- Cake and cake decorating – 4 weeks (AED 15,750 module fee)
June 3rd, 2024, to June 28th, 2024
