If you wish to save lives and are concerned about safety at your home or workplace, this course will give you the skills you need.
This 4-hour private Basic Life Support Training course is designed to provide Basic Life Support skills necessary to manage a patient in emergency situations. The course is designed to meet the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace

- Introduction
- Principles of First Aid
- Assessing an Incident
- Management of a Conscious Casualty
- Management of an Unconscious Casualty
- CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
- Safe Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Assessment Test (Multiple Choice Questions)
Delegates are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation of the essential skills. There is also a summative assessment of knowledge and skills at the end of this course.
