CMA Course Duration
Depending on the aspirant's plan and study schedule, the US CMA certificate can be completed in a minimum of 6 months to 3 years. As per the guidelines of IMA, an aspirant must complete the exams within 3 years from the date of registration.
Take Part 1 and Part 2 in any order.
You can complete and earn your CMA qualification in 8-10 months.

Exam Structure
100 multiple-choice questions for 3 hours, and 2 essay questions for 1 hour.
Essay questions involve both written and quantitative responses.
CMA Exam Testing Windows:
Register 15 days before the planned date of your exam.

Eligibility Period
Once candidates are admitted into the Certification Program, they are required to pass both within 3 years. If a candidate is not able to pass both parts within these 3 years, the entrance fee will have to be repaid, and the passed part will have to be retaken.
Maintaining CMA Designation
- CMA certificate on completion of all requirements
- Pay annual fee (active membership and entrance fee)
- Comply with ethical practice
- Maintain 30 hours of CPE (Certificate of Continuing Education)
