Learn how to sew and make a bag from an existing pattern to produce a complete tote bag in real fabric. This 5-day hands-on course is taught by a Master Pattern Maker. Along with the training, a continuous assessment will be given by your tutor during the course to help you learn faster.
You will learn how to:
- Cut a sample bag from an existing pattern
- Cut muslin fabric as per the pattern
- Mount and stitch the bag sample
- Cut real fabric and assembling the bag
- Use an industrial sewing machine to stitch the final bag
Materials:
* All materials, muslin fabric, and tools for the practice will be provided
* Students should purchase the materials for the final bag project. You will need to bring thick fabric (2 meters), fusible (1 meter) & 2 pairs of magnetic buttons. Your instructor can guide you on where to find them and also give purchase recommendations
