In these private sessions, your art instructor Merit will guide you through the process of turning your old materials into a colorful fashion statement.
These one-on-one sessions will ensure that the creativity from your own imagination stands out in your artwork, while also receiving abundant guidance on how to choose the right art products according to the material you would like to paint on. You will be guided through a step-by-step process of revamping your old clothing articles.
Who can take these classes?
It is ideal that the students have some background in how to paint as this isn't a introductory painting class. However complete beginners with no prior experience are also welcome to take these sessions & make abstract art on their clothing articles.
Students will complete one piece per session.
Materials:
* Students should bring 1 or 2 articles of clean clothing according to the number of sessions they choose. Either a t-shirt, shirt, jacket, jeans, bag or sneakers that they want to paint. The item should be well cleaned in order for the paint to stick on
* Materials needed for painting:
- Fabric Paint (High Quality), Fabric Marking Pencil, Brushes
- Pallette, Plastic Cup, Plastic Gloves, Kitchen Cloth
- Optional: USB Fan (To dry the paint quickly and for better results)
