Learn how to paint the human beautiful features and create artwork that will be worthy of a gallery!

In this 6-hour (2 sessions x 3 hours) class, an experienced and talented art instructor will teach you how to paint and portray your subjects likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person.

But wait! This is not just a regular portrait painting class. This is a class where you can go out-of-the-box and create portraits with different media from recycled materials to shuttlecock feathers. You will learn how to use these materials to bring to the canvas what you imagine and see. You can rebook the class as many times as you want until you've reached your desired skill level.

Course Outline:

Session 1: Basic cutting and pasting for the preparation of the portrait. You will be putting recycled objects in a mosaic path. If you are a beginner student with little or no background in art, you will learn how to sketch faces.

Session 2: You will learn the techniques of portrait painting, using acrylic or oil paints to add touches to your portraits while learning how to develop your own style.

About the Instructor:

Dexter Modesto found his style of artwork while he was playing badminton. He uses the shuttlecock feathers to create outstanding artwork that has earned him recognition. He was also featured in various newspapers such as The Filipino Times and The Arabian Post.
