This private 2-hour workshop is an immersive hands-on experience for participants to build their own mechanical TV using cardboard which turns still pictures and drawings into moving pictures and drawings. The best part is you get to take it home!
The workshop is a great introduction into cardboard construction and stop-motion animation/ motion pictures while also developing wider STEAM skills and 21st century skills. The course is specially curated by educators and artists to be highly interactive, fun and to meet the following objectives:
- Expand knowledge of cardboard uses.
- Develop the technical skills for using and manipulating cardboard.
- Practice creative problem solving and analytical skills.
- Gain field specific knowledge for stop-motion animation.
- Create their unique motion picture cards.
