Design and build real-life furniture with this furniture design mentoring course!

Whether you're a design student, furniture designer or someone interested in creating their own furniture, these 1-on-1 mentoring sessions will guide you in the process of creating real-life furniture.

The sessions are customized to meet your learning objectives. You can use them to fill in the gap in your knowledge of furniture design or to receive guidance in creating a prototype model or a final furniture piece. Each session runs for 2 hours. You can rebook as many times as you like to reach your desired goals.

Before the start of the sessions, the instructor will contact you to discuss your goals and create a customized lesson plan.

If you are completely new to furniture design, it's recommended that students take Professional Furniture Design Lessons: 3D Modelmaking or Online Class: Professional Furniture Design Lessons before booking these sessions.

About your mentor:

Rock Galpin is an award-winning product and furniture designer from London. He has over 28 years of experience as a furniture designer and 23 years of teaching on university campuses in the UK and privately. He is both a deeply creative and passionate designer as well as an educator with strong interpersonal skills, who simply lives and breathes design. Over the years, he has taught and mentored over 2000 professionals and students alike with some rewarding success stories.

He also runs his own design agency, specializing in furniture, product design and branding with offices in London and Dubai. His clients include The British Council, Connection Seating, Frem Group, Designers Guild, Morgan Furniture, Bacardi Global Brands, Ogilvy & Mather, Omnicom, Saatchi & Saatchi & Channel 4.
