Develop your passion for drawing skills with specialized techniques.
In this private class, you have the option to learn ONE of the following options:
Option 1: Mastering Shadows & Light (2 sessions x 2 hours each) - Ever felt frustrated having worked so hard on a drawing – only to find it still looks ‘flat’? Is it the proportions? The perspective? Perhaps the composition? Whilst these all play an integral part, the most effective method of making your drawings appear three dimensional, is understanding how light logic works with simplified method. What you'll learn:
- Forms of Shadow and Light
- How does light behave when it hits a form?
- Tips Mastering the Shadows
- Lighting Complications
- Assigning Value keys to composition
- How to Render? Pen & Ink / Charcoal
- Drawing Light & Shade: Understanding Chiaroscuro
- Fundamentals of Light Over Materials and Color.
Option 2: Perspective Drawing (4 sessions x 2 hours each) -
You've probably all heard (or even uttered) the phrase, “That really puts things into perspective.” Perspective is all about relativity; when you pull back and look at the larger picture and take a different view, maybe things aren’t so bad, or maybe there’s a solution where it seemed like there wasn’t before. Drawing with perspective will help you understand the big picture of your work and perspective drawing for beginners is much easier than you think. Learn simplified perceptual methods of representing space and volume, which render them as seen at a particular time and from a fixed position.
What you'll learn:
- What is perspective drawing in art?
- Basics of Linear Perspective
- One-Point Perspective
- Two-Point Perspective
- Introduction to Atmospheric Perspective
