The art of drawing mandalas is both a creative and spiritual experience designed to help focus and meditation. As Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön says, “each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle, and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life.” In this group workshop, you can expand your awareness of the world and literally picture your life in a gorgeous art medium.

This 8 hour course (4 sessions x 2 hours) is perfect for beginners to the art of drawing mandalas, as well as those with some experience wishing to learn specific styles. This masterclass comprises personal mentorship and guidance with the instructor to help customize a mandala just for you.

You will learn:

• Constituents of a Mandala
• Symmetry & Designs
• Grid-Making
• Layer-Making

Students will receive guidance on what art supplies to buy to practice drawing mandalas in their own time, as well as assignments after every session.

About the Instructor:

Aditi is an artist with a passion for drawing Mandalas. She firmly believes in this activity's value as an absolute joy while also being therapeutic and self-enriching. Her goal is to share the experience of immense mental peace while being engrossed in composing this artwork.

There are practically unlimited design and execution ideas that can be translated to the Mandala art form. Aditi works with many styles and mediums which makes each artistic creation unique. She has taught and shared her techniques with hundreds of students across the globe, physically and virtually.
