Dot art is a beautiful aboriginal art form that explores expression using the pointillism technique, which is the practice of applying dots of color on a surface so they blend together visually! Let’s combine the two and learn to make basic mandalas while dotting away. The best part is that you'll unwind, destress and relax along the way!
In this 3-hour, private lesson, you'll learn the basics of how to draw a mandala using the dotting technique. You'll also explore different patterns, surfaces, and colors that best attract you.
Choose between 1 and 3 sessions. These sessions can be customized and rebooked to meet your desired goals.
What will you learn in each session package?
- 1 session:
- How to draw a basic dot mandala to aid alignment and uniformity
- Mandala grid making
- Basic patterns using dots
- Tips and tricks for dotting
- You'll complete 1 artwork on a small surface
- 3 sessions:
- What's included in the 1 session package
- How to conceptualize your artwork
- Choosing the right colors
- Create a more intricate design on a larger surface
- At the end of the 3 sessions, you'll make 2 artworks on a small or medium surface
Materials:
- Basic materials will be provided. For advanced art projects, the instructor will discuss the specific materials required before the start of the session
