Do you want to learn a new medium to express your artistic ideas, a medium that mixes well with many others including watercolor, gouache, acrylics, soft pastels and chalk? Then join this dry medium course and learn from an experienced artist who will not only teach you on the basics but also inspire you to create amazing pieces of art!

You can choose 1 of the following:

1. Charcoal Drawing
   Charcoal is a beautiful medium to work with. Charcoal drawings turn out wonderful even if you are an absolute beginner. We will exercise techniques of applying charcoal, learn light and shadow rules and practice ability to see tone. In 4 sessions, you will learn the basic techniques and practice drawing the eyes, nose, and hair, completing two portraits.
2. Dry Pastels
   Students from beginner to advanced skill levels are sure to find many new ways to expand their creative abilities through the use of pastel. This course will help you improve your shading style in the simplest way possible while exploring the art lying within you by just using dry pastels. In 4 sessions, you will learn the basic techniques of dry pastels, completing 2-3 drawing of different fruits.

The course is suitable for students of any skill level and dedicated instruction will be offered by the instructor as per your learning requirements. You can book 4 sessions and spend it on either of the two media, or 8 sessions to explore both. And you can always rebook the class to refine your skill level on each.
