Learn how to form beautiful letters and fonts in this brush calligraphy class!
The best thing about calligraphy is that, with sufficient guidance from the beginning, it can be done by anyone. This 4-hour (2 hours x 2 sessions) private class is designed specifically to help you master brush strokes and lowercase letters, with the help of an expert calligrapher.
You will start off by learning the basic strokes of brush lettering, and will then focus on successfully creating artistic lowercase letters. Each letter will be broken down for you to trace, making it easy for you to understand how it's formed. Your instructor will provide you with a blank sheet to practice the letters on your own.
Once you feel confident enough, you will proceed with forming words and sentences that mean something to you.
Materials:
- Students will be provided with all materials, which they can take home after the class. These include:
- A brush pen
- Worksheet
- 20-30 pages of tracing paper
- A blank card & envelope
- A personalized coffee mug with their names on - a gift from the instructor!
