Does your child love animations? Now you can help them learn how to create 2D animation stories through this exciting class!
In this 1-hour online group class, children will learn how to make 2D animations by integrating fundamentals of art, design and technology with Virtual Reality. Under the guidance of a professional, your child will discover and practice the key skills in animation and film making using Scratch, OpenShot, and Mozilla Mixed Reality. The students can work with macOS or Windows.

You can book 8 sessions if you would like your child to learn beginner to intermediate skills or 24 sessions for beginner to advanced skills. With at least 2 sessions per week, your child will be an expert in no time!
Materials:
Students must have:
- Minimum 3.0Mbps internet is required
- Access to Scratch, Mozilla Hubs (free for students)
- Mic or headphone with mic
- If your child wishes to publish & experience VR, they must have access to an iPhone or an Android device & a VR headset
- Access to a second screen and printer is recommended
- Sketchbook
- HB, 2B, 2H pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler, colored pencils
- 25 equal-sized pieces of paper - about 3" x 5" (7.6 x 12.7 cm)
- 5 A4 sized drawing sheets
- 2 binder clips

All sessions are valid for 6 months upon booking

Additional Info:
- E-certificate of completion. Hard copies of certificates can be provided upon request
- Children under the age of 13 will need adult permission, consent, waiver, and supervision to use VR headsets and software installation
- Students will receive the below from the institute:
- Video recordings of modules
- PDF handouts of all lessons and classwork
- Interactive exercises and quizzes
- The comprehensive course (24 sessions) includes the VR headset, which will be shipped before commencing the VR classes
