Encourage your kids to learn how to form beautiful letters and fonts in this brush calligraphy class!
The best thing about calligraphy is that, with sufficient guidance from the beginning, it can be done by anyone. This 4-hour (2 hours x 2 sessions) private class is designed specifically to help them master brush strokes and lowercase letters, with the help of an expert calligrapher.
They will start off by learning the basic strokes of brush lettering, and will then focus on successfully creating artistic lowercase letters. Each letter will be broken down for them to trace, making it easy for them to understand how it's formed. Their instructor will provide you with a blank sheet to practice the letters on their own.
Once they feel confident enough, theyu will proceed with forming words and sentences that mean something to them.
Materials:
- Students will be provided with all materials, which they can take home after the class. These include:
- A brush pen
- Worksheet
- 20-30 pages of tracing paper
- A blank card & envelope
- A personalized coffee mug with their names on - a gift from the instructor!
