Would you like your kids to involve in a fun activity that will also boost their creativity, communication, empathy, self-confidence, cooperation, leadership, and negotiation? This drama class will help them build such skills which will prove beneficial throughout different stages of their life be it school, college or career. Students will present a solo act at the end of the workshop demonstrating the acquired skills in diction, confidence, body language and teamwork.
Throughout the classes, students will learn to:
- Find their own ‘voice’ and learn the importance of articulation
- Projection and voice variation
- Using their facial expressions, gestures, and posture to express their emotions and needs
- Build up their awareness of setting and people by observing classmates during role plays and pantomimes
About the instructor:
The drama classes are helmed by Marijana Glusac, a veteran actor and drama instructor with over a decade of experience in hosting TV shows and acting in stage productions. She has hosted TV shows, acted on stage & children's theatre groups and has also been a playwright for several years.
