As actor Terrence Mann said, "Movies will make you famous, television will make you rich, but theater will make you good." Help your kids discover their passion for drama in this 3-month acting workshop!

Children are trained to gain confidence and build their personalities through theatrical activities. They are taught to use their observation, imagination, bodies and voices in combination with each other to create in-class performances.

The facilitator guides them through the process of learning to deal with texts, sub texts, and the environment of the character to enable them to perform effectively. This training is done in a fun, motivating and invigorating environment which propels the student to not only perform on stage but also to understand their world better.

The children are led to the Trinity College of London certification in Acting Solo once a year.

Missed Sessions Policy:

If students miss sessions, they can make up for them within the month after program end date upon coordination with the instructor. Missed sessions will not count as credit.

About the Instructor

Rashmi Kotriwala is the co-founder of the Junction and a well-known theatre personality in Dubai with several acting, directing, and producing experiences under her belt. She has also won several awards at Short+Sweet Theatre in Dubai and spearheads the Hindi theater repertoire called Udaan in Dubai. Rashmi is a columnist for Performing Arts in Young Times and is regularly invited to judge theater festivals and performances across the city's schools and other venues. She also is a script assessor for international theater festivals.
