What will you learn:
Soft Garlic Roll Bread (Beginners - 3 to 4 hours):
In this session, you will learn how to make some delicious dinner soft rolls! Next time you have guests coming over, you can impress them with some homemade dinner soft rolls. You will learn about the importance of mise-en-place and how to knead, cut, shape and proof the dough properly.
Focaccia & Brioche (Intermediate - 3 to 4 hours):
Brioche is bread, but better! It’s a soft, lightly sweet, rich bread that works in sweet and savory dishes alike. It's really a small step away from being a pastry. Regular bread usually contains flour, yeast, water and salt but the reason brioche is so light and tastes so rich, is because it’s made with enriched dough. The ingredients such as butter, eggs and milk, give it that soft texture and amazing taste. Brioche is great on its own, of course, but it takes other similar pastries on another level.
Like most delicious bakery items, brioche comes from France! It’s debated where exactly in France it originated, but it has a long tradition all over France. It is thought that the first brioche bread recipe dates all the way back to the 800s, and has been passed down from generation to generation, with tweaks and improvements made along the way.
You will learn the fundamental and basic steps of baking an enriched dough, which requires a two-stage method. You will learn how to knead, cut, shape and proof the dough properly. You will also be provided with notes, to help you the next time you make bread at home.
Nutella Babka Bread & Cinammon Roll (Advanced - 3 to 4 hours):
Think back to your past - do you have a memory of that delicious smell while your grandma was making Christmas Breads? Want to start your own traditions during the upcoming season? In this session, you will learn how to make Babka, a traditional Jewish braided bread with chocolate and hazelnuts, it’s perfect for the winter season and is best friends with a cup of coffee.
