Course Objective

To teach professionals how to bring architectural, interior, and product projects to life through animations, camera fly-throughs, and post-production workflows using Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Session Breakdown

Session 1 – Introduction & Blender Setup

• Overview of Blender interface & navigation
• Understanding animation workflow (vs. still renders)
• Project setup, units, and scale for architectural & product animation

Session 2 – Modelling & Import Workflow

• Importing 3ds Max models into Blender
• Cleaning and optimizing imported models
• Setting up materials and textures for animation

Session 3 – Camera Animation Basics

• Adding and controlling cameras in Blender
• Keyframing basics
• Creating walkthroughs and product turntables

Session 4 – Lighting & Animation Techniques

• Static vs. animated lighting
• Creating mood and storytelling with light
• Adding realism to animations (e.g., sun movement, interior lights, reflections)

Session 5 – Advanced Animation Techniques

• Path animation for smooth flythroughs
• Animating objects (e.g., furniture movement, product components)
• Using modifiers & constraints for dynamic motion

Session 6 – Rendering with Cycles

• Cycles render settings for animation
• Sampling, denoising, and render optimization
• Batch rendering sequences for animations

Session 7 – Video Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Importing rendered sequences into Premiere Pro
• Adding transitions, cuts, and visual effects
• Adding background music, sound effects, and titles

Session 8 – Final Project & Portfolio Animation

• Students create a short animation (interior, architectural walkthrough, or product showcase)
• Render, edit, and finalize using Premiere Pro
• Export settings for:
• Web
• Client presentations
• Showreels
