Hum a song, compose, and learn to record it by going ultra-modern digital! Turn the tunes in your head into digitalized versions and learn the know-how of producing music with this class.
A talented and professional music composer, Leo Sax, will give you the heads up about everything that is related to music production using a computer and modern technologies. You will learn the basics of digital audio, recording, MIDI and Kontakt libraries and sequencing using DAW.
No previous experience with music production is required for this online course, though basic knowledge of music theory and/or ability to play any musical instrument is an advantage. The first two weeks will focus on the theoretical basis of digital recording.
The rest of the class that follows is an opportunity for you to compose and produce your music using the newly-gained knowledge of the systems and have an expert composer point out your strengths and weaknesses. The class is taken in a private 1-on-1 setting with 12 sessions that goes on for 80 minutes each.
Beginner & Intermediate
* The software that will be used during the course is free, however, students can also use any paid software that they already have or would like to work on.
* Other materials and equipment are supplementary and will be discussed with the instructor
All sessions are valid for 4 months upon booking
16 and older
* Students who book the whole course will be given a 30-minute free placement class, during which all the technical aspects of the classes will be explained, as well as computer requirements and the syllabus. While students who opt for one session will be sent the requirements by email.
