Madhubani art (or Mithila painting) is a distinct painting style practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar in India and Nepal, done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments, characterized by eye-catching geometrical patterns. Paper maché, on the other hand, is a crafting technique mixing paper pulp with glue and molding them to form various items.

For paper maché, it features 3 learning levels and each level takes 8 sessions to complete. Choose the required number of sessions depending on the preferred learning level to master the painting and molding techniques.

Learning Levels & Techniques for Paper Maché:

• Level 1 - Basic (8 sessions): Form basic shapes by molding the paper maché into trays, cups, pen stands, bowls, and other simple items.
• Level 2 - Intermediate (16 sessions): Learn to mold the paper maché into a bit more complex shapes such as wall hangings, newspaper holder, and more.
• Level 3 - Advanced (24 sessions): Mold the paper maché into sculptures (Lady with a water pot, cow, elephant etc.) by using old newspapers as the base for it. They will finally get to paint your molded items with Madhubani painting techniques incorporating designs inspired by natural elements, animals, and geometric figures.

You can also select 4 sessions as a trial for basic projects.
