In this private course, you will be able to learn electric burr hand engraving from an established glass artist. Whether you are a beginner on this topic or have existing skills, the instructor will guide you through techniques that will take your skills to the next level. In addition to practical learning, you will also get an in-depth look at the tools and equipment involved.
Whether you want to create showpieces, customize your glassware, or create a unique gift, this class has got you covered. In 3 sessions of 3 hours each, you will get hands-on practice on the following topics:
- Engraving letters/words calligraphy on glass.
- Engraving images using stipple technique.
- Basic of Intaglio engraving.
At the end of the course, you will be able to take home the 3 art pieces you have created - 2 basic and 1 advanced.
Materials:
* Students will need to bring their own masks and apron.
* Tools will be provided for use during class.
* All other materials and glass will be provided.
