Learn to express yourself creatively and refine your ideas by making your own mood board!
Moodboards are used by a variety of creative professionals, including graphic designers, interior decorators, set designers, fashion designers, photographers, and event planners. In other words, anyone developing an object or environment that needs to have a particular “look” often starts with a moodboard to specify design elements and color schemes.
In this 4.5-hour class (3 sessions x 1.5 hours), an experienced designer will guide you through the process of making your own mood board. You will develop your ideas and locate your inspiration to create either a physical or digital mood board as per your personal or professional goals.
Course Outline:
Session 1: Consultation, Introduction to Mood Boards and Finding your Inspiration
Session 2: Collecting & Organizing Ideas
Session 3: Designing & Completing the Mood Board
Materials:
- Students should bring examples of their ideas to Session 2, e.g. printed images, magazine clippings
