Learn the ancient and peaceful craft of using your hands to shape clay to create a beautiful and functional piece of art!

In this 2-hour class, you will be shown how to craft with your hands and simple tools to pinch, coil and slab clay you build a form that is organic, personal and unique. You will be taught how to score surfaces and all the basic techniques of hand building, introduction to different types of clay, painting and manual glazing techniques. This class is for beginners and the finished pieces will be a set of coasters which you can take home with you and any other objects you craft in class!
