Getting Artsy with Urmila

Urmila Santosh is a self-taught artist & craftsperson inspired by the gorgeous motifs and traditional art forms of her native India. Her favorite styles to paint are floral designs, intricate doodles, dotted patterns, zentangles, and vibrant mandalas. 

Urmila considers art to be a form of calming therapy and is always thinking of new ideas and themes to include in her work. She is a popular member of the Abu Dhabi art community and, along with her team, she participated in the prestigious 'Year of Tolerance' mural project in association with Abu Dhabi Municipality in February 2019.
