Take a dive into Carnatic music!
Carnatic music is a form of traditional Indian music with roots in Southern India. Most of its music is inspired by Hinduism but it does take influences from various other sources.
In this 1-hour lesson, you'll learn how to sing vocals suited to Carnatic music. Develop a deep knowledge of how this iconic genre of music is made.
Note that students will be in batches dependent on their age.
What you will learn:
- Ragas (musical notes)
- Tala (rhythm)
- Kritis (musical composition)
- Geetams (simple melodies that are devoted to God)
