There's nothing quite as beautiful and mesmerizing as stained glass windows. For centuries, stained glass windows have adorned churches and monuments that look absolutely breathtaking when light shines through.
Purvi Pamnani is a professional artist who is skilled in several art forms, including stained glass work. In this private 9-hour (6 sessions x 1.5 hours) class, Purvi will guide you through all the steps involved in creating a stunning stained glass masterpiece that can be used to decorate your home.
Come along with colorful pieces of glass; you may bring any glass items from home to create your art piece. You will then learn how to cut and arrange them to perfection in order to assemble the image you would like to create. Finally, you will complete your project by soldering all your glass pieces together. What do you do next? Bedazzle your home with your completed stained glass artwork!
Materials:
Students must bring their own materials. These materials can be easily found in any art supply store and you can also ask the instructor for recommendations. The following materials are required:
- Different colored pieces of glass
- Glass cutter
- Solder
- Copper foil
- Glass Grinder
Optionally, materials can be provided by the instructor for use during the class for an additional fee of AED 550.
