Electric (or electronic) drums are modern electronic musical instruments, typically designed similarly to an acoustic drum kit. It consists of an electronic sound module that produces the synthesized or sampled percussion sounds and a set of ‘pads’, usually constructed in a shape to resemble drums and cymbals, which are equipped with electronic sensors (or triggers) to produce a sound once the drummer hits it.
In this private, 1-hour lesson, you'll learn how to play the drums and push your musical journey further. You'll be amazed at what you can play!
What you will learn:
- What the drum kit consists of
- How to hold the drumsticks
- Rudiments (drumming patterns)
- How to time your beat
- Note reading
- Practice simple songs
Materials:
- Students will need to purchase a music book for 50 AED from the institute
- The instrument will be provided during the lessons
