Afiz Idris

Afiz is an Arabic-speaking American teacher and artist with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and has completed a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).

He can hold his own in Italian and Turkish. Due to a tremendous love of language, Afiz has studied, and continued studying, many languages. Afiz also enjoys teaching and ever since he began tutoring math at Santa Barbara City College in 2004, he has not ceased teaching in one way or the other.

He has 3 years of teaching experience in Turkey and 6 years in the UAE. Afiz is currently working with Sharjah American International School as an English Teacher. Afiz's young age (34) also, along with his love for linguistics in general, allows him to communicate ideas and express himself in a way some just can't.
