Do you wish to know how to operate your sewing machine? In this course, you will learn everything from set-up to projects that rely on more advanced techniques.
In this 12-hour (4 sessions x 3 hours) at home class, a lot of topics will be covered. And at the end, one of the following will be created:
- Pakistani Shalwar Qameez
- Indian Churidar
- Western Top & Bottom
- Arabic Jellabiya & Palazzo or Trousers or Skirt
Course Highlights:
- How to use the machine (threading & handling other issues)
- How to take measurements for a dress
- How to make a draft of a dress
- How to cut a pattern of a dress
- How to cut a dress according to a pattern
- How to stitch a dress (step & step instructions)
This class can also take place in the instructor's home in Ajman
Materials:
- The instructor can bring the materials and sewing machine.
- You need 5 meters of cotton fabric for the project (can be purchased from the instructor for AED 40 for 5 meters.)
