Do your kids love to smash and break stuff? Channel their energy into a drum kit!

In this 1-hour, private lesson, they'll learn how to play the drums methodically and effectively. They'll bash their way to acquiring the skills required for this popular instrument! Beginners will learn the basics and how to practice their skills. Intermediate to advanced learners will explore advanced skills, improvise their music and refine their existing skills.

Choose between 1, 3 and 6 sessions. These lessons can be customized according to your kids' goals and rebooked as many times as required.

What they will learn:

• Sight Reading
  
  • Learn how to recognize, count and play notes. This skill is crucial in playing independently and its one not every drummer has so they'll be practicing as much as possible
• Play Along with Music
  
  • They'll practice their skills mostly through playing along with existing music. This is the most enjoyable part of the lesson and the kids will build up their confidence through this practice. Each lesson will offer a new track for them to play along with, plus they'll learn new techniques to enhance their skills
• Rudiments
  
  • These are drumming patterns that are considered the building blocks of all drum beats and fills. Learn all of the rudiments, how to play them and how to apply them to the drum kit
• Timing
  
  • Possibly the most important attribute of a good drummer – every drummer needs good timing! They'll learn how to play with a metronome and develop their timing
• Technical
  
  • Develop various techniques to play any music they want! This includes both mechanical playing techniques as well as producing different sounds from the drum kit
• Genres
  
  • They'll be exposed to various genres that utilize the drums and study the abilities of the most iconic drummers. This will give them rich musical knowledge that will enhance their knowledge of music and drums
• History of the Drums
  
  • Each lesson will have a short insight into various aspects of either the players that introduced the music we love to the world or the advances that developed the drum kit
